Terms of Service

The agreement that governs access to and use of Nobleway during public beta.

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Nobleway (nobleway.app), operated by Stansa Labs LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), during the public beta. The public website, including sign-in, sign-up, and workspace invitation links, is nobleway.app. After you sign in, the household ledger is at dashboard.nobleway.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Public beta

Nobleway is offered as a public beta. The service may contain bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behavior. Availability, performance, and functionality may change without notice.

Do not rely on the beta as your only financial record-keeping system. Export your data regularly and maintain your own backups.

What Nobleway provides

Nobleway provides household financial tracking, organization, calculations, and AI-assisted interpretation of information you enter or import. The ledger stored in your workspace is the source of truth for balances and history shown in the product.

Nobleway does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. It is not a bank, lender, broker-dealer, or professional advisor. Any insights, summaries, or AI-generated text are for informational purposes only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for your financial decisions and for verifying important information independently.

We do not connect to your bank accounts or pull transactions automatically.

Your account and responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account and authentication credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account. New accounts are created with first-party Nobleway authentication on nobleway.app (email verification, a password you choose, and optional linked providers such as Google). Nobleway stores a password hash (not your plaintext password) and may store phone numbers used for SMS one-time codes when that option is enabled. If you enable an authenticator app, you are responsible for keeping that device and any backup codes safe.

If you previously used a third-party identity provider during earlier beta periods, you may need to verify your email and finish first-party sign-in or password setup before your household ledger is available under Nobleway authentication. New sign-ups do not create accounts on that prior provider.

You are also responsible for the accuracy of transactions and other data you enter, import, or confirm. If you collaborate in a household workspace, you are responsible for understanding who can view or edit shared data according to workspace membership. Invitation links open on the public site at nobleway.app/onboard/[token].

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or use Nobleway for unlawful purposes.

AI features

Ask Nobleway may use AI to help interpret messages you send to record activity or ask about your history, optionally extract a draft transaction from receipt images, optionally propose rows from statement PDFs or images uploaded on Import or in chat, and optionally explain results. Digital statement PDFs with a readable text layer are parsed on our servers without sending that content to an AI provider. Voice capture uses your browser's speech features where available (your browser or device vendor may process audio for recognition). We do not collect audio, and AI runs only on text you send after you review it. AI does not directly write ledger entries.

Nothing from capture, chat file attach, or statement import is saved until you confirm. You must review extracted dates (including day/month order), amounts, accounts, categories, and counterparties before saving. AI output can be wrong. Do not treat AI responses as professional advice.

Platform AI features use the operator-configured provider for the service (for example Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic), which may change over time. OpenRouter is not used as the platform provider. If you enable bring-your-own-key (including Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter), you are responsible for your relationship with that provider and for how your data is handled under their terms. OpenRouter may forward requests to another model provider.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features during the beta. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. Soft-deleted or changed data may not always be recoverable.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Intellectual property

Stansa Labs LLC and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in Nobleway software, branding, and documentation. You retain ownership of the financial data you enter. You grant Stansa Labs LLC the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that data to provide the service to you.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" DURING THE BETA, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STANSA LABS LLC, NOBLEWAY, AND THEIR OPERATORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE DURING THE BETA IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ZERO US DOLLARS, BECAUSE THE PUBLIC BETA IS CURRENTLY OFFERED WITHOUT CHARGE.

Termination

You can close your account from Settings at any time. Closing your account schedules deletion in 30 days. You can restore the account before that deadline. After the deadline, the account and any households you solely own are removed from the application. Local sessions, password credentials, authenticator secrets, backup codes, and linked sign-in providers for that account are revoked or removed. If a prior third-party identity record is still associated with the account during migration, we request deletion of that authentication record as well when the provider integration remains available. Operator backups may still contain copies after that removal. The application does not set a retention period for those backups. AI usage records may remain after a household is removed. Those records can include the provider, model, and whether the request succeeded. They do not include prompts, keys, or financial text. If you still own a household with other members, transfer ownership first. You can also delete a household you own from Workspace settings. Export your data first if you need a copy. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the beta. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitations of liability) will survive.
